Chinese actress Li Xi Er needed 54 stitches after flipping car in accident

It was another ordinary day for Chinese actress Li Xi Er and her father as they had planned to spend the afternoon out together. Unfortunately, a horrific car crash ruined their day.

According to China Press, the accident happened in Lufeng, Yunnan. According to witnesses, in an attempt to avoid colliding with a truck on the Zhongcun Bridge, Li swerved her vehicle and the caused the car to flip and landed on a field.

In a picture posted online of the aftermath, it appeared that the road was narrow and had been lifted above ground level. The 33-year-old actress was unfamiliar with the route and was unaware of the uneven road.
