Former Taiwanese actress Joan Lin Feng-jiao – who is married to HK superstar Jackie Chan – no doubt, leads a luxurious life.
Her spending power apparently includes buying houses, buildings and plenty of lingerie.
A recent report by a Singaporean media stated that the 1970s screen goddess spends NT$500,000 (RM75,982) on the French lingerie collection Chantelle.
The report outlined that the 68-year-old usually visits the brand’s store in Taiwan whenever she goes home to visit her family on the island. Lin currently resides in Hong Kong.
Lin was said to shop there twice a year, with the bill amounting to NT$1mil (RM151,998) a year.
As it turned out, it is not the price of the underwear that brings the total to that number. But rather Lin buys a large quantity of them.
Allegedly, Lin makes the huge purchase so she can give away some of the lingerie out as presents.
Lin married Chan in 1982, and the couple has one child, Jaycee Chan who was born in the same year.
Before she retired from the film industry, Lin was one of the top names in Taiwanese and Hong Kong showbiz circle.
