Local actor Aeril Zafrel has tested positive for Covid-19 on Jan 20.

In an Instagram post uploaded on Jan 21, the 32-year-old recounted: "On Monday (Jan 18), I went to my manager's house because he had a fever. I went over because I'm usually the one who takes care of him when he's sick."

"It was getting late so I decided to just stay over. On Tuesday (Jan 19), I took him to get the swab test and I got myself tested too. Then I met my staff to discuss the launch of a product at the end of this month and went home right after."

"On Wednesday (Jan 20), my manager and I tested positive."

Aeril, who is married to actress Wawa Zainal and have three children together, shared they tested negative on the rapid antigen test and is awaiting results for their swab tests.

The Mandatori actor is self-quarantining for 10 days in a separate room. He added his manager's fever has subsided.
