South Korean actor Yun Kyun-sang is not only known for his height – he stands at 191cm – but also for his love for cats.
Besides posting photos of himself on his Instagram account, the 33-year-old actor usually floods it with pictures of his four cats, which he’s adopted from animal shelters.
In a recent appearance on the Korean entertainment programme My Little Old Boy, the Class Of Lies star told how he ended up sharing his home with the four cats.
He said it began when he moved out of his parents’ home to live on his own, bringing along his family dog so he wouldn’t feel lonely.
However, while Yun was away filming, the dog – that was left alone for a long period of time – had developed separation anxiety.
Yun said: “One day I came home and my dog climbed on top of my stomach and began peeing on me, even though he knew this would get him in trouble. I could feel him trembling and I was really shocked.
“Since then too, he would only eat and go to toilet if I was watching him."
Not wanting to worsen his dog's condition, Yun had no choice but to send the animal back to his parents’ house.
“But then I got depressed. That’s how I met the cats that are my pets now.”
According to him, he was only thinking of adopting one feline, but then a thought occurred to the actor after what happened with his dog.
“If I get only one, then he would be lonely. So, I ended up with four cats. They're my family,” said Yun.
