After Alif Satar tested positive for Covid-19 on Nov 22, the Malaysian singer-actor's parents, younger brother and personal assistant's results also came back positive the following day.
His manager Adlina Abu Bakar confirmed the news with Harian Metro.
Then on Nov 24, Alif took to Instagram to share that his wife and three children – ages between one and five – all tested negative for Covid-19.
"My wife and children are free from Covid-19. They will continue to quarantine at home for two weeks," wrote the 30-year-old.
Alif, who is currently being treated at a hospital in Melaka, also acknowledged the outpouring of love and support from his friends and fans since his diagnosis.
"I've received the thousands of messages and words of encouragement you wrote to me via Instagram and WhatsApp. I've read them and I want to thank you for your prayers."
Two days before testing positive, Alif performed live at the semi-finals of song competition Muzik Muzik.
Following the I Want You To Love Me hitmaker's diagnosis, the organiser immediately postponed its subsequent live show.
