PETALING JAYA: Suria FM's very own DJ Lin (pic) has once again won the “Popular Radio Announcer” award at the 33rd Anugerah Bintang Popular Berita Harian (ABPBH).
This is the second year in a row that the 44-year-old DJ Lin – or Roslinda Abdul Majid - has taken home the prestigious award after winning it last year.
The Suria Cinta host beat 19 other contenders, including popular voices such as Haziq, Haiza, Shuk Sahar and Jep Sepahtu.
DJ Lin said it was her hard work and dedication to her fans that won her the award.
"I follow their discussions and I make sure to always reply to their DMs and interact with them.
"You need to show you care and take the time to reply to all messages from your fans. God-willing, when you are sincere in doing so, they too will feel your sincerity," she told MStar.
DJ Lin said most of her fans were active on Facebook and knew that other celebrities would be active on other social media platforms such as Instagram as well.
She added that she would also go all out on every platform as her fans were spread around the world and their online votes also mattered.
DJ Lin has won the award a total of three times since first getting it in 2015.
The 33rd ABPBH was held on Friday (Nov 13) and was hosted by Datuk AC Mizal and Nabila Huda.
