FIFA World Cup 2026: Your complete guide to watching every match on TV and streaming

Malaysians are set to enjoy full coverage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with all 104 matches of the world’s biggest football tournament to be broadcast by Radio Television Malaysia (RTM) and Unifi TV.

According to the frequently asked questions (FAQ) issued by the tournament’s official broadcaster, football fans can watch the matches through the Unifi TV platform and RTM’s main channels on the MYTV platform, namely TV Okey (MYTV Ch 110) and Sukan+ (MYTV Ch 111).

In addition to the television broadcast, the tournament will also be available free of charge via RTM’s streaming platform, RTMKlik, which can be accessed through its mobile application and RTM’s official website.

According to FAQ, all 104 matches of the 2026 World Cup Finals will be broadcast, allowing fans to follow every match throughout the tournament, which will be held in the United States, Canada and Mexico from June 11-July 19.

To ensure wider accessibility, RTMKlik can be accessed through various devices, including Android and iOS smartphones, laptops, personal computers and smart televisions.

Users are not required to register an account to watch content on RTMKlik, although registration is encouraged for a better viewing experience and access to additional features

RTM will also air replays of selected matches via RTMKlik, subject to schedules that will be updated from time to time.

In addition to live broadcasts, the national broadcaster will offer special programmes throughout the tournament including pre-match shows, analysis, daily highlights and the latest updates related to the competition.

RTM will also provide commentary in Bahasa Melayu and English for certain matches, while selected broadcasts will be available in high-definition (HD) format, depending on the platform and users’ access capabilities.

The match broadcast schedule will be announced and updated through RTM’s official platforms, including RTMKlik, RTM’s portal as well as RTM’s official social media channels and RTM TV Sport.

Fans experiencing technical glitches, such as streaming disruptions or difficulties accessing the RTMKlik application, are advised to ensure they have a stable internet connection and use the latest version of the application that can be downloaded through the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup will be the first edition featuring 48 teams and is expected to be the largest tournament in the competition’s history, with 104 matches scheduled throughout the event. – Bernama
