Miss Hong Kong 2020, Lisa-Marie Tse, met with her first controversy just weeks after her crowning.
Last week, a netizen posted a photo of a topless woman, claiming it was Tse.
The 25-year-old addressed the issue for the first time during an event (translation by 38jiejie.com): "The face is not even the same. Her body also has a mole.
"The picture looks like it was taken on a boat. My body isn't as nice as hers."
Seasoned Hong Kong artiste Maria Cordero, who encouraged Tse to join the pageant, also came to her defense in an interview with Oriental Daily News.
"It's not even her face! Her nose is much sharper than the person in the picture and you can tell by her teeth it isn't her. So pointless!
"Actually now that Lisa-Marie Tse is popular, there will definitely be people who will mess with her. The industry is like that."
Prior to joining the pageant, the Scottish-Hong Kong beauty was a surgical nurse based in Livingston, Scotland.
