When Taiwanese singer-songwriter announced his concert dates to be held at Taipei Arena in Taipei, Taiwan, the tickets were all sold out in 15 minutes.
And true enough, the venue saw the gathering of 11,000 and 22,000 people on Aug 8 and Aug 9. Something that is unheard of in today’s climate when coronavirus is still an ongoing crisis.
In a press release, it stated that one way the organisers ensured the safety of the fans on those two nights was by adhering to Taiwan’s Covid-19 preventive measures which includes checking everyone’s temperatures, as well as making sure they wear masks and have access to hand sanitisers.

Since this is the first concert at the venue since the outbreak, Chou pulled out all the stops to entertain his fans.
There was a revolving stage, dancers and outfit change. To the fans’ delight, he even took off his top while performing the second song of the night.
The 25-year-old performed many fan favourites including That’s All, Freedom and At Least I Remember.
Chou also had a couple of guests join him on stage – Ben Wu and Dino, while Mandopop queen G.E.M. made an appearance via a video link.
There are two more arena shows scheduled; Chou is set to perform at Kaohsiung Arena, Kaohsiung, Taiwan, on Sept 5 and Sept 6.
