Anyone who is familiar with Lizzo knows that she is unabashedly proud of her body.
The singer is known for hits such as Truth Hurts, Juice and Good As Hell.
However, Lizzo is also a somewhat controversial figure; she has been mocked for her size, with some people saying that she is glorifying obesity.
Regardless of her detractors, Lizzo’s mission remains the same – the singer hopes that by being confident and loving herself, she can help women all over the world do the same.

Recently, Lizzo posted a video to her TikTok page sharing her workout regime. The video, which opens with Lizzo on an exercise bike, was accompanied by a powerful narration:
“Hey, so I’ve been working out consistently for the last five years. And it may come as a surprise to y’all that I’m not working out to have your ideal body type. I’m working out to have my ideal body type. And you know what type that is? None of your f***ing business, because I am beautiful, I am strong, I do my job, and I stay on my job.
This is not the first time Lizzo has clapped back at people who shame her for her size.
Last Friday (June 5), Lizzo posted a message to the people who use her name as an insult: “Every time there is a big girl on (TikTok), I find that people always put my name in the comments. If every time you see a big girl on this app loving herself – and putting herself out there, and being confident and loving her body – you think of me, or you think she looks like me — b***h, that is a what? (A) compliment!”
