There's a picture hanging on one of the walls of the L2 Art Gallery that depicts a tired elephant lying down to rest under a starry sky which immediately catches the eye.
“That’s me, ” says Alice Chang Oi Lai when asked for her interpretation of the work.

Beyond sculptures, Chang is also a keen painter and observer of wildlife art, where she has a soft spot for elephants.
