Toast to French ‘art de vivre’ at annual wine festival in KL


Fresh oysters paired with premium wines promise evenings of pure indulgence during the Oyster & Vine Soiree at Le Bar Cocktail & Stories.

A CELEBRATION of France’s rich wine heritage greets guests to the Sofitel Kuala Lumpur Damansara which is holding its annual Sofitel Wine Days.

Curated events and culinary delights that reflect the very essence of French art de vivre (art of living) immerse guests in a world of exquisite wines.

The month-long celebration honours the French tradition of wine making.

This year, its signature restaurants — Le Bar Cocktail & Stories, Nizza and Wan Chun Ting — are offering experiences that cater to every palate.

From 4pm to 7pm tomorrow, an Oyster & Vine Soiree at Le Bar Cocktail & Stories will serve the freshest oysters prepared in various styles.

These will be paired with premium champagnes and wines for evenings of pure indulgence priced from RM109+ per person.

At Wan Chun Ting, enjoy an evening of Cantonese culinary excellence paired with the sophisticated La Montina Estate Franciacorta wines from 7pm to 9pm on Oct 11.

For RM498+ (early bird) or RM550+ (regular price) per person, guests at the Wine Dinner La Montina Estate Franciacorta will get to savour the finest creations of Master Chef Heng.

Le Bar Cocktail & Stories will also host its newest Hibiscus Afternoon Tea with Wine Pairing.

Wine aficionados can celebrate with rose wines from 2pm to 5pm each afternoon until Oct 27.

For weekday afternoons, it is RM168+ per set for two pax while it is RM188+ on weekends.

Two glasses of organic wines can be added on for RM80+.

From 6pm to 10pm until Oct 27, guests can discover the perfect bottle for celebratory moments during the Wine Market Open Cellar at Le Bar Cocktail & Stories.

The sale period promises special prices.
