Thai Panang Curry Beef with succulent chunks of meat,
MENTION Thai food and mouth-watering favourites such as tom yam, green curry and sweet desserts come to mind.
These dishes and many more are the highlight of the Thai Cuisine Wonder promotion at The Eatery in Four Points by Sheraton Puchong.
The restaurant is offering its latest additions of Thai favourites in a choice of Thai Food Buffet or Thai Seafood and Grill Buffet.
Chef Ruchiret Thavongyot, fondly known as chef Teena, prepared a variety of dishes such as Thai Green Curry Chicken, which had a rich and creamy broth, flavourful Thai Panang Curry Beef and aromatic Thai fried rice during our visit.
The crispy fish cakes with an excellent crunchy coating were a hit among guests. However, the star of the night was the pandan chicken – it was perfectly charred once unwrapped, yet retained its juiciness and fragrance.
Among the items featured at the different food stations were som tam (Thai green papaya salad) which delivered sweet and spicy flavours in every mouthful, as well as grilled seafood, lamb, beef and chicken.
Chef Teena strongly recommended dipping the cuts of meat into at least one of her four special Thai sauces, which elevated the taste with different levels of sweet, sour and spicy notes.
The Thai desserts won the hearts of many. The vibrant pink Water Chestnut in Coconut Milk and icy-cold Thai cendol really hit the spot after a spicy meal.
The flavourful and ripe Thai Mango Sticky Rice and Thai Banana in Syrup, prepared with fresh fruits, are also not to be missed.
The food promotion is ongoing until Aug 31 from 6.30pm to 10.30pm.
The Thai Food Buffet is available Sundays to Thursdays at RM115 nett per adult, while the Thai and Seafood Grill Buffet is available on Fridays and Saturdays priced at RM135 nett per adult.
Children aged five to 12 years eat at half price for both buffets.
