YEARNING to bite into a juicy piece of meat or seafood? Sigi’s Bar and Grill in Golden Sands Resort will satiate those cravings if you are in Penang.

Though best known for Italian treats like pizzas and pastas, the outlet also has an excellent griglia (or grill) selection covering both surf and turf.

Sink your teeth into a Beef Ribeye, Striploin, T-Bone or Flank Steak cooked a perfect medium rare so there is a light crust on the outside while juicy and pink within.

The Spring Chicken and Lamb Rack with herb crumb are just as delightful. But considering Sigi’s scenic seaside setting, diners might be more enticed by fresh seafood.

Nicely charred Tiger King Prawns or slabs of Norwegian Salmon, Red Snapper and Barramundi are yours for the taking. All grill items come with a choice of carbs, vegetables and sauces.

“Many guests we spoke to remarked that they were craving delicious grilled items after the long MCO, ” said hotel manager Christoph Dueker.

“These grilled items aren’t easy to cook at home or to get via takeaways and delivery. So visit us for a hearty meal, ” he added.

Sigi’s has also added half a dozen Asian dishes to its offerings.

Beer prices have also been lowered so have a chilled pint or two while you feast.

Set to be one of the largest pizzas ever served in Penang, the square-shaped treat is certainly Instagram-worthy. What’s more, it comes in four different flavours so everyone in the family can have their favourite.
