The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is presenting a festive menu with Oriental flavours. Sweet and savoury bites include Red Fortune cocoa-flavoured red velvet cake layered with white chocolate cream cheese, Salted Caramel Bliss with chocolate curls, Berry Blueberry with layers of cream cheese and white chocolate, Dulce Hazelnut and Chocolate Paradise as well as Chicken and Scallion Scones and Shaanxi Chicken Sandwich. Prices range from RM6.90 per piece to RM139.90 for a whole cake. These can be paired with Dulce de Leche beverages, available as ice blended, hot, iced latte or nitro cold brew latte, with prices starting from RM15.95 per cup.

Pizza feast

Kick back with a slice or two as you spend time with friends and family on National Pizza Day. Express your love for the oven-baked flat bread topped with various layers of cheese, sauce and condiments by indulging in your favourite flavours at Tosca, Doubletree by Hilton Kuala Lumpur. The pizza come in many different flavours, including Neopolitana Pizza with buffalo mozarella and basil, Slipper Lobster Pizza with barbecue sauce, Cacio E Pepe Pizza with pink peppercorn and pecorino cheese and Tosca’s Signature Pizza. The restaurant serves Indochine cuisine with liberal use of Hong Hanh fish sauce from the island of Phu Quoc. Some of the dishes to look out for are Mangosteen Salad, Banh Xeo (Vietnamese Pancake), Duck in Tamarind and Beef in Young Coconut.

The restaurant prides itself on the freshness and authenticity of its dishes as ingredients are air flown, twice a week, directly from Japan’s famous market Tsukiji market. Among the dishes to relish are Satsumaimo Tempura, Maguro Kama Shioyaki and Jikasei Tofu.

Adopts a do-it-yourself concept for diners to cook their own teppanyaki. The meat is served fresh from the kitchen, while the vegetables and sides are served at the bar. The standard buffet spread offers chicken, fish, beef and lamb slices, while the premium buffet includes Australian Wagyu steak cubes and Hokkaido scallops.

House specialities include lamprais (available on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays) and Trinco Crab Curry.

The flagship Signature BBQ Pork Ribs recalls the caramelised outer crust of char siew, and it has a nice balance of spiciness that does not overwhelm. The idea of serving a filling main dish by pairing 10 basic pork recipes with a carb accompaniment — whether rice, pasta or sandwich — is amazingly simple and convenient.

This fine dining spot emphasises on creativity and exciting flavours in its modern western cuisine. Only set dinners are served, with four-, six- or 10-course options offered.
