Pantech’s 2Q net profit rises to RM19.39mil

The company's revenue grew to RM281.5mil from RM227.36mil a year earlier.

PETALING JAYA: Pantech Group Holdings Bhd remains vigilant amid ongoing macroeconomic uncertainties, including evolving trade policies, geopolitical tensions, supply chain disruptions and cost pressures.

“In response, the group will maintain pricing discipline to manage changes in tariffs and raw material cost, prioritise proactive risk mitigation through disciplined cost management and improvements in operating efficiency to navigate these uncertainties effectively,” it said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia.

For the second quarter ended Aug 31, 2026, Pantech’s net profit rose to RM19.39mil from RM14.57mil in the previous corresponding period, while revenue grew to RM281.5mil from RM227.36mil a year earlier.

Pantech said the higher revenue and profit before tax were largely driven by the manufacturing division’s robust performance.
