West River wins RM17.5mil subcontract

PETALING JAYA: West River Bhd, via its wholly-owned subsidiary, West River Engineering Sdn Bhd, has secured a RM17.5mil subcontract from Al-Ambia Sdn Bhd for electrical, extra-low-voltage (ELV), security and solar panel system works at E-Metro Logistic Park in Bandar Bukit Raja 2, Selangor.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, West River said the RM17.5mil subcontract covers the supply, delivery, installation, testing and commissioning of electrical and ELV systems, telephone services, security works and solar panel systems, together with the related works required to complete the subcontract.

“The subcontract forms part of the proposed development at Parcel Metrohub 3 (i8A), E-Metro Logistic Park, Bandar Bukit Raja 2, comprising two phases.

“Phase 1 involves a two-storey warehouse facility, while Phase 2 comprises a two-storey ramp-up ready-built warehouse facility together with an ancillary building.”

The company said the project expands West River’s exposure to Malaysia’s industrial and logistics infrastructure segment.
