Jati Tinggi bags RM15.71mil TNB contracts


PETALING JAYA: Jati Tinggi Group Bhd has secured two contracts worth a combined RM15.71mil from Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) for works involving underground and submarine power cable systems in Selangor and Perlis.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the group said its wholly-owned subsidiary Jati Tinggi Holding Sdn Bhd secured a RM13.44mil contract for the installation, testing and commissioning of underground cables and accessories for TNB’s Distribution Network in the Selangor Zone.

The contract, which was accepted on Oct 2, is effective from the date of acceptance and will be completed within one year from the first issuance of the notice to start work.

On a separate note, Jati Tinggi Holding – together with Ventura IOT Sdn Bhd through an unincorporated 51:49 joint venture – secured a RM2.27mil contract for the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of a distributed acoustic sensing system for TNB’s 132-kilovolt submarine power cable system between Kuala Perlis and Teluk Apau.
