Astro Malaysia Holdings Bhd
slipped into a net loss of RM25.8mil in the second quarter ended July 31, 2026 (2Q27) from a net profit of RM16.39mil a year earlier, as revenue fell 7% to RM633.75mil on lower subscription revenue and weaker Ebitda.
For 1H27, Astro recorded a net loss of RM24.24mil compared with a net profit of RM29.87mil a year earlier, while revenue declined 7% to RM1.29bil on lower subscription and advertising revenue.
KIP Real Estate Investment Trust
(KIP REIT) has surpassed its RM2bil assets under management (AUM) target for 2027 ahead of schedule following the RM435mil acquisition of KIPMall Setapak.
The acquisition adds its 20th property and first in Kuala Lumpur, with income contribution expected from 2Q27.
UWC Bhd
’s financial year ended July 31, 2026 (FY26) net profit surged 132% to RM93.84mil as revenue grew 54% to RM594.89mil, driven by stronger semiconductor demand and increased contributions from higher-value products.
For 4Q26, net profit jumped nearly 130% to RM37.60mil as revenue soared 71%, supported by stronger semiconductor demand, a favourable product mix and better absorption of operating costs.
