New Zealand appoints Rebecca Williams to central bank's monetary policy committee

SYDNEY: The New Zealand government on Friday appointed Rebecca Williams as an internal member of the Reserve Bank Of New Zealand's monetary policy committee on a one-year term.

Williams, currently senior manager of economics at the RBNZ, will begin her role on October 15, Finance Minister Nicola Willis said in a statement. - Reuters
