Tunku Kamariah quits Techna-X 


KUALA LUMPUR: Techna-X Bhd’s deputy chairman and executive director Tunku Kamariah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah Sultan Iskandar has resigned with immediate effect.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, the diversified technology group said Tunku Kamariah’s resignation was due to personal commitment.

She was appointed deputy chairman and executive director four days ago, on Sept 10. Tunku Kamariah, 70, is a member of the Johor royal family.

She is also patron of PS The Children, a non-governmental organisation supporting sexually abused children in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur, and an ambassador of the Asian Liver Centre at Stanford University in the United States.

Techna-X also announced the resignation of independent and non-executive director Tengku Shahrain Shah Tengku Sulaiman Shah due to personal commitment. — Agencies
