Minjie Janet Gu becomes Nestle CFO


PETALING JAYA: Nestle (M) Bhd has appointed Minjie Janet Gu as executive director and chief financial officer (CFO), effective Feb 1, 2027.

She will succeed Syed Saiful Islam, who will be transferred to another Nestle market to take on a new role.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, Nestle said that Gu is a senior finance executive with more than 20 years of experience across Oceania and Asia, including over 18 years with Nestle.

She is currently the regional CFO and head of finance and control for Nestle Professional Asia, Oceania and Africa, where she oversees finance and control functions across multiple markets.

Prior to this, she was head of corporate finance and decision support for Nestle Oceania from 2020 to 2023, covering Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.
