KUALA LUMPUR: Kelington Group Bhd
said its wholly-owned subsidiary has accepted a contract from a leading semiconductor manufacturer in India with a provisional value of US$452mil (RM1.83bil) for the provision of turnkey total facility tool hookup services in relation to the Dholera Fab in Gujarat, India.
The group said it will act as the main contractor and undertake the overall design, installation, connection, testing and handover of manufacturing, laboratory and support tools, together with related tool-specific support systems for Module 1 and Module 2 of the facility.
The works are expected to commence in September 2026 and are expected to be completed by February 2029 over about 30 months.
The provisional contract price comprises US$249.9 million for Module 1 and US$202mil for Module 2, covering up to 886 tools across both modules.
The final contract value will be determined based on the actual quantities of tools and services executed.
