Citaglobal bags RM82.1mil residential college contract

KUALA LUMPUR: Citaglobal Bhd has secured an RM82.12mil contract to design and build a new residential college at the Institut Pendidikan Guru Kampus Bahasa Melayu in Lembah Pantai, Kuala Lumpur.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the group said its wholly-owned subsidiary Citaglobal Land Sdn Bhd (CLSB) had accepted a letter of award from Purnama Base Sdn Bhd for the project.

The contract covers the design, construction and completion of the new residential college and related works.

The 22-month contract is scheduled for completion on June 30, 2028.

Following the award, Citaglobal said its outstanding pro forma order book stood at about RM1.5bil as at June 30, 2026.

Citaglobal said the project is a government development within the education sector, implemented through the Public Works Department (JKR).

It said the contract is expected to contribute positively to the group's earnings, earnings per share and net assets over the contract period, barring unforeseen circumstances.
