Ramssol, Linear Channel enter tie-up to expand AI solution

KUALA LUMPUR: Ramssol Group Bhd says its wholly-owned subsidiary Rams Aitech Sdn Bhd has inked a memorandum of agreement with Linear Channel Sdn Bhd with regards to a collaboration for the supply and provision of information technology devices, artificial intelligence (AI) software solutions and device monitoring software under Linear Channel’s GreenElite Pro device-as-a-service programme.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Linear Channel will contract directly with small and medium enterprise end customers for the rental of information technology equipment bundled with AI software and device fleet monitoring services.

Linear Channel is responsible for the end customer relationship, deployment, servicing, billing and collection.

Meanwhile, RAMS AITECH will supply and licence the relevant AI software and device monitoring software and provisions the devices to Linear Channel.

The collaboration will provide RAMS AITECH with a committed base of 10,000 subscription seats and establish a recurring revenue stream for RAMS AITECH’s AI Solutions while expanding the market deployment of its AI and device monitoring technology.

In addition, the channel exclusivity arrangement in Malaysia and the regional right of first refusal framework are expected to facilitate the continued development of the collaboration and provide strategic opportunities for the expansion of similar programmes in selected South-East Asian markets (Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines).
