Strong interest in new Matrix Kluang township

PETALING JAYA: Matrix Concepts Holdings Bhd’s upcoming township, Bandar Seri Impian 2 (BSI2) notes encouraging market interest, with more than 200 prospective homebuyers attending an exclusive preview ahead of its planned launch later this month.

The level of interest recorded during the early registration period provided positive indication of market receptiveness ahead of BSI2’s official launch, Matrix Concepts explained.

The group noted BSI2’s official launch is tentatively scheduled for the end of September 2026.

Matrix Concepts co-chief executive officer, property development and commercial Chai Keng Wai added that the response reflects the wider appeal of BSI2 among prospective homeowners from Kluang and surrounding areas.

BSI2’s English-inspired concept was a key draw for prospective homeowners, making it Kluang’s first English-inspired township, according to the property developer.

“The two-day exclusive preview gave us an opportunity to connect with families and share more about BSI2 and what we are building for the community,” Chai said.

In response to the encouraging momentum, Matrix Concepts has begun reviewing the planning and preparation timeline for the subsequent phase, to accelerate preparations in response to market demand.

BSI2 spans approximately 309 acres with more than 7,000 completed residential units and an estimated population of 25,000, the group highlighted.

“The first phase of BSI2, Mayfair, will introduce 213 landed homes, comprising a mix of single-storey and double-storey terrace residences designed to cater to different household needs, lifestyle preferences and stages of homeownership,” Matrix Concepts explained in a statement.
