Seni Jaya lands RTS advertising job

PETALING JAYA: Seni Jaya Corp Bhd’s (SJC) advertising business is set to gain a new revenue stream after its indirect 70%-owned subsidiary, SJX Media Sdn Bhd, secured a seven-year concession to manage advertising media for the Johor Bahru-Singapore Rapid Transit System (RTS) Link.

SJX Media entered into an advertising concession agreement with Malaysia Rapid Transit System Sdn Bhd (MRTS) yesterday to undertake the design, build, operation and transfer of advertising media at designated spaces within the RTS Link project.

Under the agreement, SJX Media will be responsible for designing, installing, operating and maintaining the advertising infrastructure, as well as marketing and commercially exploiting the advertising spaces.

The concession will run for seven years from its commencement date, with MRTS having the discretion to renew it for a further three years.
