Kee Ming Group wins RM40mil M&E contracts


PETALING JAYA: Kee Ming Group Bhd has secured two contracts to undertake subcontract works for mechanical and electrical engineering (M&E) services for two separate industrial projects within the Valdor Industrial Area, Penang (LOA 1) and Taman Perdagangan Elmina, Selangor (LOA 2), with an aggregate sub-contract sum of RM40mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Kee Ming said the contracts were awarded by a third-party contractor which is principally involved in the design, supply and installation of steel structures, as well as general civil engineering and building construction projects.

It said LOA 1, worth RM21mil, is expected to be completed by the first quarter of 2027. LOA 2, meanwhile, is worth RM19mil and is anticipated to be completed by the second quarter of 2027.
