MPI posts stronger FY26 earnings on 24% revenue surge


The company said its board remained confident in the group’s ability to capitalise on the global semiconductor industry’s sustained growth.

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian Pacific Industries Bhd’s net profit for the financial year ended June 30, 2026 (FY26) increased to RM188.04mil from RM153.78mil last year on the back of higher revenue.

The company’s FY26 revenue increased by 24% to RM2.64bil from RM2.13bil.

Revenue from the Asia, the United States and Europe segments rose by 23%, 52% and 10%, respectively, compared with the corresponding period of FY25.

For the fourth quarter of financial year 2026 (4Q26), net profit increased to RM44.22mil from RM43.52mil, while revenue rose to RM736.63mil from RM564.01mil previously.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the investment holding company said its board remained confident in the group’s ability to capitalise on the global semiconductor industry’s sustained growth.

“Moving forward, the group will prioritise expanding into higher-margin segments, particularly artificial intelligence servers and sensors, while leveraging its technological expertise to unlock new opportunities.

“Simultaneously, management is actively mitigating rising production costs amid a challenging global economy and geopolitical uncertainty.

“To underpin this strategy, the group will continue to deliver responsive, customer-centric solutions, strengthen long-term relationships, and provide consistent high-quality support,” it said.
