PETALING JAYA: Kelington Group Bhd
posted a higher net profit of RM41.34mil for its second quarter ended June 30, 2026 (2Q26), compared to RM32.89mil a year earlier.
It said the improvement in profitability was largely driven by stronger revenue contributions from key projects across the group.
The group recognised the reversal of a RM2.3mil impairment relating to projects in Taiwan, which further supported the quarter’s profitability.
Revenue for the quarter came in at RM344.42mil, marking a 22% year-on-year rise from RM282.02mil in 2Q25.
This was mainly due to higher revenue contributions from ongoing projects, the group said.
Meanwhile, Kelington’s cumulative net profit for first half the year (1H26) stood at RM71.72mil, up from RM59.53mil last year, while revenue also increased by 11% to RM614.84mil from RM552.3mil in 1H25.
The group said the higher earnings were supported by more favourable project margins and higher project recognition across most operating countries.
