PETALING JAYA: Dutch Lady Milk Industries Bhd
remains cautiously optimistic on its outlook for 2026, supported by the strength of its brands and the increasing recognition among Malaysians of the nutritional value of milk.
“The company will continue to support local dairy farmers, with the aim of improving both the quantity and quality of domestically produced fresh milk,” it said in a Bursa Malaysia filing.
For the second quarter ended June 30, 2026 (2Q26), Dutch Lady’s net profit rose to RM38.18mil from RM23.4mil in the previous corresponding period, while revenue grew to RM386.55mil from RM375.61mil a year earlier.
The company said growth in revenue was primarily driven by higher sales in its core Dutch Lady liquid milk range, which was relaunched with a new pack identity in the second quarter; strong momentum in the out-of-home channel, as well as positive contribution from innovations, particularly Dutch Lady Omega 3*6 and the newly launched Dutch Lady Tealive range.
Furthermore, it said operating profit for the quarter landed at RM52.1mil, an increase of 53.6% compared to RM33.9mil in 2Q25.
For the six-month period ended June 30, 2026, net profit grew to RM68.13mil from RM48.43mil in the previous corresponding period, while revenue improved to RM784.39mil from RM749mil previously.
