Public Packages net profit up 57.9%


PETALING JAYA: Public Packages Holdings Bhd’s second-quarter (2Q) net profit has surged 57.9% year-on-year (y-o-y) on the back of stronger sales and continued cost-control measures.

In a stock exchange filing, the group announced that its net profit rose to RM10.9mil in the 2Q ended June 30, 2026, lifting earnings per share to 4.09 sen.

Revenue for the quarter also increased by 13.9% y-o-y to RM53.54mil, led by stronger demand and a favourable product mix.

Despite the stronger results, no dividend was recommended for the 2Q.

For the first six months of financial year 2026, Public Packages reported a 26.9% y-o-y increase in net profit to RM18.9mil, while revenue rose 9.3% to RM103mil.

Looking ahead, Public Packages anticipates its performance to remain encouraging.
