Maxis taps CEO Goh Seow Eng as executive director

KUALA LUMPUR: Maxis Bhd has announced the appointment of its chief executive officer (CEO) Goh Seow Eng to its board of directors with immediate effect.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the company said Goh has been CEO since Dec 1, 2022.

Maxis said he brings regional leadership experience and previously served as president and chief operating officer of Advanced Info Service Plc in Thailand.

Goh previously served as Singtel’s managing director of home business in Singapore, where he oversaw the fibre broadband, pay-TV, and fixed-line segments.

“He also led customer life-cycle management and marketing communications for Singtel’s consumer division in Singapore,” it said.

Maxis noted that prior to joining Singtel in November 2010, he served as Astro Malaysia’s chief operating officer of consumer group. — Bernama
