KUALA LUMPUR: Indonesia Stock Exchange-listed PT Bank CIMB Niaga Tbk, a 91.45% indirectly held subsidiary of CIMB Group Holdings Bhd
, said its consolidated pre-tax profit in the first half of 2026 stood at IDR4.3 trillion, translating into earnings per share of IDR136.67.
Total loans grew 6.6% year-on-year (y-o-y) to IDR247.2 trillion, while current account and savings account (CASA”) balances increased 6.9% y-o-y to IDR193.1 trillion.
“We are pleased to report that CIMB Niaga delivered steady performance in the first half of 2026, supported by continued growth in loans and CASA, as well as disciplined execution," said president director and CEO of CIMB Niaga Lani Darmawan in a statement.
According to the bank, revenue grew 6.8% y-o-y, while pre-provision operating profit rose 6.5%.
There was a higher contribution of non-interest income, which cushioned the lower net interest income and supported overall revenue growth.
Asset quality remained sound, with gross non-performing loans (NPL) improving to 1.83%.

Total consolidated assets stood at IDR382 trillion, which was 6.7% higher y-o-y as of June 30, 2026.
Total deposits increased 2.8% y-o-y to IDR269.3 trillion, with CASA ratio reaching 71.7%, while total loans grew 6.6% y-o-y, driven by strong performance across key segments. Corporate banking recording the highest growth of 13.8% y-o-y, while commercial banking gained 4.6% y-o-y.
