PETALING JAYA: RHB Bank has announced that its online banking platform will stop supporting older, outdated browsers from Oct 31. These outdated browsers will not be able to access the platform after this date.

In a notice on its website, the bank says the change is intended to provide a safer and more secure banking experience for customers. It adds that this is due to older browsers no longer receiving security updates from their respective providers.

The bank has set the minimum versions for five browsers, consisting of Google Chrome (V149 and above), Microsoft Edge (V149 and above), Mozilla Firefox (V151 and above), Opera (V130 and above), and Apple Safari (V18 and above).

No action is needed if the browser is already on a newer version.

For customers unable to update their browser to a newer version, RHB Bank advises them to use the RHB Mobile Banking App, available on both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
