’s wholly owned subsidiary, Zecon Renewables (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd, has awarded a RM328mil engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning con- tract to fellow wholly-owned unit Zecon Renewables Sdn Bhd.
In a statement, Zecon said the contract is for the development of a 100 megawatt alternating current (MWac) large-scale agrivoltaic solar photovoltaic facility at the Kota Petra Green Technology Park (KPGTP) in Sarawak.
“This 100MWac Phase 1 marks the first major activity under the KPGTP masterplan, an important milestone that signals the shift from planning and approvals to execution.”
