PETALING JAYA: UOA Real Estate Investment Trust
(UOA-REIT) saw its net profit rise 38.8% year-on-year to RM15.12mil for the second quarter ended June 30, 2026 (2Q26), from RM10.89mil a year earlier, driven by stronger property income and lower property operating expenses.
“Quarterly revenue increased 10.73% to RM33.32mil from RM30.09mil previously,” it said in a statement.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, it realised net profit grew 41.4% to RM29.54mil from RM20.89mil, total income rose 11% to RM68.62mil from RM61.70mil for the first half ended June 30, 2026
The REIT declared an income distribution of 3.94 sen per unit, with the entitlement date falling on Aug 5 and the payment date on Aug 28.
UOA-REIT said the increase in property income was mainly attributable to improved occupancy rates.
