KUALA LUMPUR: Interior fit-out specialist Adnex Group Bhd via its wholly-owned subsidiary Adnex Interior Solution Sdn Bhd has secured a RM10.96mil interior design and fit-out contract for Hilti Asia IT Services Sdn Bhd at Sunway Square Corporate Tower 1.
In a statement, the group said it received the contract from the project's general contractor, JLL Project and Construction Management Sdn Bhd.
Work on the five-month project commenced on July 21, 2026, and is scheduled for completion by Dec 24, 2026.
Adnex managing director Kan Wai Chun said securing transactions with globally recognised brands like Hilti holds strategic value that extends well beyond the immediate revenue.
"It demonstrates the trust that leading multinational corporations place in our capabilities. It reflects our continued ability to deliver high-quality fit-out works within tight project timelines," he said.
Kan added that the additional resources from the recent listing place the group in a stronger position to undertake larger, more complex projects while progressively enhancing the quality of its client portfolio and creating sustainable long-term value for shareholders.
Adnex’s recent initial public offering raised RM18.10mil in gross proceeds, which were earmarked for business expansion, performance bonds for interior fit-out projects, repayment of bank borrowings, and working capital.
It said its improved financial position put it in better capacity to tender for larger corporate contracts.
Adnex provides corporate interior fit-out services across a broad range of sectors, including commercial offices, food and beverage outlets, sales galleries, healthcare facilities, and educational institutions.
Looking ahead, the group remains focused on expanding its order book across both existing and new market segments.
It intends to leverage its strengthened post-listing financial position to pursue further opportunities across Malaysia and selected regional markets while maintaining strict cost discipline and timely project delivery.
