KUALA LUMPUR: HSS Holdings Bhd has entered into a three-year collaboration with Eco-Shop Marketing Bhd to launch the Sinar Blind Box Birthday Cake, as the bakery products manufacturer expands into the growing blind-box product segment.

In a statement, the bakery products manufacturer said the product will be sold exclusively at Eco-Shop outlets across Peninsular Malaysia from August 2026 at RM2.60 per 100g box.

Under the collaboration, H.S.S. Confectionery Foodstuff Sdn Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary of HSS Holdings, will oversee product development and manufacturing, while Eco-Shop will manage retail distribution and in-store sales throughout the agreement period.

HSS Holdings managing director Goh Chen Chang said the collaboration marks the group's first partnership with Eco-Shop.

“Eco-Shop provides us with a strong retail platform to bring this concept directly to a broad consumer audience, and we’re excited for shoppers across Peninsular Malaysia to be among the first to try it.”

Eco-Shop merchandising director Peggy Lee Kuan Hiong said the retailer will serve as the exclusive sales channel for the product in Malaysia during the three-year collaboration.

The Sinar Blind Box Birthday Cake will be available at Eco-Shop outlets across Peninsular Malaysia from August 2026.
