Impact Capital inks MoU with China's KeenData to advance AI, data software adoption in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: Impact Capital Holdings Bhd has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with China's Beijing Kejie Technology Co Ltd (KeenData) to jointly promote the adoption of Data & AI foundational software in Malaysia.

In a statement, Impact Capital said the MoU, signed through its wholly owned subsidiary, Impact Business Solutions Sdn Bhd (IBS), combines IBS' expertise in information and communications technology (ICT) infrastructure, systems integration and digital solutions with KeenData's advanced AI-native data infrastructure technologies.

Under the MoU, IBS and KeenData will collaborate on sales, business development and customer support initiatives to promote Data & AI foundational software across key sectors in Malaysia, including smart cities, smart parks, manufacturing, infrastructure, urban planning, fintech and retail.

They will also develop market-specific solutions, support the integration of AI and data software into existing enterprise systems, and provide technical support and after-sales services.

In addition, both parties will jointly organise seminars, webinars, workshops, conferences and trade shows to promote greater awareness and adoption of Data & AI foundational software among Malaysian enterprises.

“As organisations continue to accelerate their digital transformation efforts, the ability to effectively harness data has become increasingly important in driving operational excellence and business innovation.

“Through this strategic collaboration with KeenData, we look forward to combining our local market expertise with KeenData's advanced Data & AI foundational software capabilities to support Malaysian enterprises in their digital transformation journey,” Impact Capital non-independent executive director Chyr Ye Hong said.

KeenData specialises in AI-native data infrastructure and intelligent analytics solutions, serving industries such as manufacturing, energy, automotive and financial services.

The company has also supported digital transformation initiatives for Fortune Global 500 companies.

The MoU will remain in force for an initial period of three years.
