Alpha IVF opens first full-fledged IVF centre in Jakarta

PETALING JAYA: Alpha IVF Group Bhd has opened its first full-fledged in-vitro fertilisation (IVF) centre in Jakarta, Indonesia.

“The centre serves the Greater Jakarta metropolitan area, the world’s largest and most populous city, with nearly 42 million people. The area offers substantial patient catchment, including a sizable middle- and upper-income population seeking specialised healthcare services.”

Alpha IVF Group said the centre offers a full suite of reproductive services and minimally invasive procedures, including laparoscopic surgery.

“It also provides technologies used across Alpha IVF Group’s network, including Cryotec vitrification, time-lapse embryo monitoring and AI-assisted embryo assessment.

“The centre targets 180 oocyte pick-up cycles in the financial year ending May 31, 2027.”
