TAFI lands RM135mil building job

PETALING JAYA: Tafi Industries Bhd has secured a contract from Armani KPF2 Development Sdn Bhd (AKDSB) for the construction, completion and maintenance of a building and associated works within a mixed commercial development in Setia Alam, Shah Alam, worth RM135mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, TAFI said the construction period would be 42 months from the date of commencement, which is July 21, 2026.

“The contract is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net tangible assets of TAFI for the financial years ending June 30, 2027 to June 30, 2030.”

TAFI said the contract is considered a recurrent related party transaction (RRPT), of which the mandate to enter into such RRPT had been obtained from the shareholders at the 21’s AGM on Nov 20, 2025.

“Datuk Seri Azlan Azmi, Datuk Seri Wong Sze Chien, Datuk Seri Ong Chee Kean and Abdul Malek Jalil are directors of both TAFI and AKDSB,” it said.
