Solar District bags RM19mil rail contract


KUALA LUMPUR: Solar District Cooling Group Bhd (SDCG) has secured an RM18.5mil contract to upgrade the building management systems (BMS) at selected rail transit stations and their ancillary buildings.

In a statement, SDCG said its wholly owned subsidiary, Solar District Cooling Sdn Bhd, had accepted a letter of award for the project, which will run over 24 months from July 15, 2026 to July 15, 2028.

The project involves upgrading and modernising the existing BMS infrastructure to improve operational efficiency, monitoring capabilities and overall system performance across rail transit facilities.

The latest job raises its outstanding order book to RM54.52mil, comprising RM36.02mil as at June 30, 2026, and the newly secured RM18.5mil project.
