WCT lands RM926mil Abu Dhabi residential job


PETALING JAYA: WCT Holdings Bhd has secured a sub-contract from United Arab Emirates-based Construction General Contracting House Ltd to undertake a residential development in Abu Dhabi worth RM926.21mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, WCT said the project is owned and developed by Aldar Development LLC-OPC.

WCT said the sub-contract is for the Yas Riva Residences Works Package, which will involve the construction and completion of six residential buildings, each with 11 Levels, in Plot C54 and C55 and with one common basement.

“The sub-contract works are expected to commence in the third quarter of 2026 and are to be completed within 1,218 days from the commencement thereof.

“None of the directors or major shareholders of the company or persons connected with them has any interest, direct or indirect, in the sub-contract,” said the company.
