I recently read an insightful article titled Centralised Housing Data Bank Needed by National House Buyers Association (HBA) president Brig Gen Datuk Goh Seng Toh, which was published on Aug 1, 2026.

Goh raised an important point. Despite the vast amount of housing information generated across Malaysia, much of it remains fragmented across different agencies and organisations. This fragmentation makes it difficult for policymakers, developers, financial institutions and home buyers to see the complete picture.
