KUALA LUMPUR: Skygate Solutions Bhd said it is unaware of any development that could have led to the unusual market activity (UMA) in its shares, following a query from Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd.
The telecommunications and technology firm closed up 1.5 sen, or 1.9%, to 82 sen. It has risen almost 37% in the first five days.
Responding to Bursa Malaysia's UMA query, Skygate said enquiries with its directors, major shareholders and other relevant parties found no undisclosed corporate developments, including any under negotiation or discussion, that could have accounted for the recent trading activity.
Skygate also said it is not aware of any rumours or reports concerning the group's business that could account for the share price movement, nor any other possible explanation.
