Sentoria shares to be suspended from June 12, faces delisting

KUALA LUMPUR: Sentoria Group Bhd's shares, listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd, will be suspended from trading effective June 12, 2026.

In a Bursa Malaysia filing today, the property developer stated that it will be delisted on June 16, 2026, unless an appeal against the delisting is submitted to Bursa Securities on or before June 11, 2026.

The delisting follows the company's failure to submit its regularisation plan to the Securities Commission Malaysia or Bursa Securities for approval within the extended deadline of June 3, 2026.

"In the event the company submits an appeal to Bursa Securities within the appeal timeframe, the delisting of the company's securities from the Official List of Bursa Securities on June 16, 2026, will be deferred pending a decision on the appeal.

"The securities will be withdrawn from Bursa Depository by the company upon their delisting from the Official List of Bursa Securities," it said.

Upon delisting, Sentoria Group will continue to exist as an unlisted entity. The company will still be able to continue its operations and business activities, proceed with its corporate restructuring plans, and potentially reward shareholders through its performance.

"However, shareholders will hold shares that are no longer quoted or traded on Bursa Securities. The interests and rights of shareholders will remain safeguarded under the Companies Act 2016," it added. - Bernama
