Eversendai bags RM400mil projects in Singapore and India

KUALA LUMPUR: Eversendai Corp Bhd has secured four new projects amounting to RM400mil across Singapore and India.

In Singapore, the group was awarded a project by Kajima Overseas Asia Singapore Pte Ltd for the Toa Payoh Integrated Development, comprising the construction of a polyclinic, library, sports facilities, stadium, town park, and basement levels.

The group also secured several projects in India, among which includes a key initiative in Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh, for an Integrated Office Building aimed at establishing a centralised administrative hub.

In Mumbai, it received a contract from Larsen & Toubro Limited, Chennai, for the structural steel long-span works of the Prestige Tower Y development.

Additionally, Eversendai has been contracted by The New Era Agencies Private Ltd to deliver a high-rise residential building known as Dhuleva One 50 at Malabar Hill, Mumbai, on a cost-plus contract basis.

The group said the new project wins underscore its proven capability in delivering large-scale, high-value engineering and quality construction projects, supported by its experienced technical teams across multiple regions.

"The group wishes to reassure all stakeholders that it remains on a solid footing, underpinned by a strong order book, an active tender pipeline, and consistent demand for its engineering and construction expertise delivery projects without compromising on safety, quality and timely delivery.

"Eversendai remains confident of overcoming current challenges, supported by several potential project awards expected within the coming months," it said in a statement.
