Kerjaya Prospek wins RM174mil Negri contract


PETALING JAYA: Kerjaya Prospek Group Bhd (KPGB) has secured a RM174.2mil construction contract from RB Land Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of IJM Land Bhd, for a serviced apartment development in Seremban, Negri Sembilan.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, the group said its wholly owned subsidiary, Kerjaya Prospek (M) Sdn Bhd, accepted the letter of award for the contract which involves the construction and completion of a 44-storey development at Mukim Bandar Seremban Utama.

The project will comprise 778 serviced apartment units, 15 retail units on the ground floor, two private offices and six levels of parking. Other components include facilities areas, a main switch station, guardhouse, waste storage area and a unipole structure.

Construction is scheduled to commence on June 1, 2026, with completion targeted within 35 months.

KPGB said the contract is expected to provide an additional stream of revenue over the next three years while strengthening its existing order book.
