KUALA LUMPUR: Meta Bright Group Bhd said its wholly-owned subsidiary FBO Land (Setapak) Sdn Bhd executed a supply agreement with renewable energy with Tenaga Nasional Bhd and Surau Perumahan Pasdec II Indera Mahkota to implement a solar photovoltaic system at the surau's premises.

The collaboration follows a memorandum of understanding between Meta Bright and Koperasi Kakitangan Istana Pahang Bhd, dated May 30, 2023,  to implement solar PV systems on the rooftops of mosques in the state under the supply agreement with renewable energy scheme.

"This project enables Meta Bright, through FBO Land, to participate in the renewable energy sector by implementing Solar PV systems at Surau premises in Pahang, contributing to the state's sustainability goals while generating long-term recurring income for the Group," it said in a stock exchange filing.
